Philadelphia has a proud mural tradition that was born out of the efforts to organize early graffiti artists into acceptable and constructive public art. When I taught at an alternative school for troubled students we began to work on murals and it brought our community together. We even did murals for the Pennsylvaina Capital Department of Education. Since then I have painted many murals. I can be contacted to paint murals for rooms or areas or to work with others to produce murals.
